A Paw For Paws
Promoting friendship, support, guidance and inclusivity within the pup & pet community.
I need a little help making conversation and getting involved in activities.

I’ll take the time to engage with you.
A Paw For Paws is a project to help people who face barriers at social events held by the pup and pet community. This may be due to shyness, social anxiety, disability, or some other barrier.
We believe that all members of our community should be able to enjoy events free from barriers.
We aim to do this by offering friendship, support and guidance through the use of volunteers whose job it is to support any member of the community who is facing barriers that prevent them from actively taking part in any social event.
The simplest way we help is by providing these paw keyrings for free to any pup/pet who needs one.
By wearing this it tells others that you need a little help making conversation and getting involved in activities.
By wearing one of these it tells other pups that you will take the time to engage with them.
My paws finally arrived today! #APawForPaws is something that is really close to my heart, as someone who suffers major social anxiety and depression I find it really difficult to take part in social events. This, no matter how small is huge for me. A step forward. @APawForPaws pic.twitter.com/nFn6j8HCw4— PixelPup @Cfz2020 (@SnootBoopPup) November 28, 2019
Such a brilliant idea and I’m sure it’ll help so many #apawforpaws I really struggle socially at events with meeting new people and joining in. I’m also going to wear this as I really love coming across and helping new pups integrate and feel at ease – it’s where I’m at my best. pic.twitter.com/uTADqLNPQN— Mello 🐾 (@PupMello) November 24, 2019
